This August, make sure to be on the Sunshine Coast for Horizon Festival - an unmissable multi-arts festival that will take place for ten whole days near our Bayview holiday apartments in Mooloolaba!

Just a few highlights to look out for this year include the Horizon Festival Opening Ceremony in Maroochydore, which will celebrate heritage with a colourful ceremony involving art, dance and music. Horizon’s Festival Centre will also continue in Maroochydore, where each day there will be nonstop live entertainment, pop-up art galleries and a spread of exciting market stalls.

There will be lots more to explore and be entertained by in Nambour, Bokarina, the Alexandra Headland and other scenic locations across the Sunshine Coast, where Horizon Festival will host classical music performances, First Nations dances, spoken word poetry, live art exhibits, hands-on nature activities and workshops - offering the chance to learn clay making, literary writing, raft building, drawing, kite making, arts and crafts and lots more for the young and old alike.
