The Nambour Winter Jazz Fest is back this 2018 for its third event on the Sunshine Coast, and it’s not to be missed for jazz fans and festival-goers in and around Queensland. Taking place in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, the Nambour Winter Jazz Fest is one whole day of nonstop jazz, jazz workshops, and good food, and it’s a great day out for all tastes and ages!

The venues of Nambour’s vibrant C-Square will be taken over by a number of jazz bands and musicians, which will be headlined this year by none other than famous Australian jazz artist Vince Jones. The rest of the lineup will include James Sherlock, Dan Bolton, Will Sargisson, Bruce Woodward, Me and My Chaffeur, The Walter Ego Trio, Ric Halstead, Sean Flynn, Sharny Russell, Estampa, Camaron De La Vega, De La Vega’s Vagabonds, The French Quarter Alligators, and Scout - plus more. The ever-popular ‘Jazz Walk’ at the Nambour Winter Jazz Fest will allow jazz fans to walk from venue to venue in Nambour, enjoying all of these big jazz names and good food along the way. Musicians with a passion for jazz can also avail of several workshops, which will include improvisational jazz as well as an exclusive workshop with festival artist James Sherlock.

The full lineup is as follows: 9.30am-11am Jazz Guitar Workshop with James Sherlock and Jazz Improvisation Workshop, 12pm-6pm Jazz Walk, 12pm-7pm Courtyard Celebration, and 6pm-9.30pm The Supper Club with Vince Jones.
